Public Forum: February 1, 2023

The fourth and final interactive workshop in the Town of Wakefield’s Master Plan project reviewed two of the eight Master Plan topics: public facilities, town services, and infrastructure; and economic development. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council and Master Plan Advisory Committee held a public session on February 1, 2023. Public Forum 2: June 29, 2022

The second public workshop in Wakefield’s Master Plan project took place on June 29 at 6:30 p.m. This virtual session reviewed two of the eight Master Plan topics: Historic & Cultural Resources and Housing. View the presentation.

Public Forum 1: April 6, 2022 

Our first virtual public workshop reviewed two of the eight Master Plan topics: Land Use and Zoning (growth, enhancement, and preservation areas) and Open Space and Recreation (parks, squares, and leisure.) View the presentation deck.

As the project takes shape, there will be many opportunities for the community to get involved, including:

  • Four public workshops throughout the project
  • Topic feedback and input via surveys
  • Potential table-top or other engagement at Town Meetings or events, as determined by the Advisory Group
