Pride 2023

On June 1, 2023, the Human Rights Commission raised the Pride Flag at the Americal Civic Center. The event featured guest speaker Wakefield Town Councilor Jonathan Chines, Chair of the Town Council; poet James Brogna from the Galvin Middle School; singers Ben Blackstone and Vanessa Schukis; and Reverend Brett Johnson from the Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
