Community Networking Groups

As you build your business, you'll likely want to connect with others in the community. Here are a few of the great groups with which you could network:

Albion Cultural Exchange Committee
The Albion Cultural Exchange promotes art, culture, and commerce in downtown Wakefield. Its Albion Street location hosts live music, art education, and open studio gallery events.

Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association
The Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association (WCNA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the beautification and improvement of Wakefield's center and adjacent parks.

Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce
The mission of the Chamber is to make a difference in the Wakefield community by promoting the general business interests and the civic, economic, and social welfare of the people. It supports local businesses by offering referrals and responding to local, state, and national issues that affect the business environment.

Wakefield Independence Day Committee
Wakefield's Fourth of July Parade has been an important part of the Town's history since 1922. The Independence Day Committee organizes this signature event.

Wakefield Farmers Market
The Wakefield Farmers Market provides a venue for local farmers to sell their locally grown produce directly to consumers. In addition, it offers space for charitable and civic organizations to share information about their good work, opportunities for organizations to promote the town as a cultural arts, recreation, and dining destination, and creates an atmosphere that brings neighbors together to shop, play, or picnic at the market.
