Internal Staff: AED Training

Do you know where the automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are located in our buildings and do you know how to use them? More than 15 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in a public location, and AEDs have the potential to save lives. Wakefield’s Emergency Management and Fire Departments invite you to a training session so you can learn what an AED does and how to use one.

Please sign up for a half-hour session using the form below. Each time slot can accommodate up to 10 employees.

  • Public Safety Building: Lobby
  • Town Hall: First floor next to Tax Collector's office
  • 5 Common Street: Lobby
  • 11 Lafayette Street (IT Building): Left side of hallway entrance
  • Beebe Library: Avon Street entrance, left side as you pass through double doors
  • Council on Aging / Senior Center: Office area
  • Americal Civic Center: Drill Hall (gym), right side
  • DPW Building (North Avenue): Right side of first mechanical bay
  • Water Department Building (Broadway): Office area
