Spaulding Street Bath House

On March 23, 1939, residents at a Special Town Meeting voted to build a bath house on Spaulding Street at Lake Quannapowitt at a cost of $5,261. The bath house was built to accommodate 100 boys and 100 girls and designed as a modern building with asphalt shingles. The Spaulding Street bath house was completed in 1940 for a cost of $6,882.59. The structure was relocated in 1994 to the Forest Glade Cemetery where it is currently used as a maintenance facility. Learn more about the history of the bath house.
