Update: Specialized Energy Code Infosession Recording Now Available

Wakefield's Environmental Sustainability Committee has proposed Warrant Article #7 to be voted on at Town Meeting on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The proposal is to adopt the Specialized Energy Code, which is a building code update that applies only to new construction.

On Monday, November 6, the Committee will host a forum about this Warrant article so voters can learn more. Attendees will hear from an expert in the Department of Energy Resources and have the opportunity to ask questions in advance of the Town Meeting. The infosession will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the WCAT studio at 24 Hemlock Road (Field House side of Wakefield Memorial High School).
