Local Rapid Recovery Plan (LRRP)

The Local Rapid Recovery Plan (LRRP) program provides municipalities with technical assistance to develop actionable, project-based recovery plans to revitalize downtowns, respond to the effects of COVID-19 on local businesses, and prioritize actions and strategies.

The program provides technical assistance through plan facilitators assigned to each participating community and subject matter experts who are available to help seed ideas for project recommendations and best practices webinars.

  • Downtown business outreach and engagement
  • Analysis and exploration of challenges, barriers, opportunities and actions
  • Best practice case study webinars on different economic development topics

Engagement

A public webinar was held on July 20, 2021, with our plan facilitator, Powerful Pathways. This virtual forum reviewed how the Town and our partners can assist businesses recover from COVID-19 impacts and what strategies are being considered as part of the state's Local Recovery Planning Process. Results from the Business Survey were presented along with some initial ideas and recommendations for future project implementation. View the slide deck or watch the session.
