Pollinators
To bee or not to bee.
Pollinators are a keystone species that supports biodiversity and a healthy ecosystem. Honeybees, butterflies, birds, bats and other animals are all pollinators. Pollination helps reduce food insecurity. It is estimated that 1 out of every 3 bites of foot we eat exists because of pollinators.
Habitat loss is one of the greatest threats to pollinators. Consider reducing the size of your lawn and creating a pollinator patch. Even a small container of pollinator plants can make a difference.
