Fright Night Thursday October 26th

The PUMPKIN DISPLAY is from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on the front Plaza of the Beebe Library in Downtown Wakefield! The pumpkins will be lit at around 5:00 pm but are best seen when it starts to get dark. Stop by to see the amazing carving work of the WHS Art students! 

The WHS TV movies are at 4pm &  7pm at the Galvin MIddle School Auditorium! $5 admission!

Neighborhood Trick or Treating October 31st

Wakefield has a long standing tradition of holding the unorganized trick or treating on October 31st.  No specific times as we trust the judgement of the citizens.

Curbside Leaf & Yard Waste Collection

Saturday November 4, 2017

All bags/containers must be curbside by 7:00 AM.  All leaves and grass must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or barrels and all branches must be tied in bundles (no larger than 3 feet by 18 inches) and tied securely at both ends.  No plastic bags will be accepted.

Any branches larger than 3 ft in length and 18 inches in diameter WILL NOT be picked up.
