Arts Council

The Wakefield Arts Council supports public programs that promote access, education, diversity, and excellence in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences. The Council works closely with the Massachusetts Cultural Council to provide grant money to support these efforts.  M.G.L. c. 10, s. 58 states Arts Councils are to have at least 5 members and not more than 22 members with staggered 3-year terms and members are to be appointed to no more than 2 consecutive terms.
