Town Day on the Common October 8, 1 to 4 pm

Celebrate Town Day on the Common October 8

The Town of Wakefield and the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce are excited to welcome the community to Town Day on October 8, 2022. The festivities will take place on the Common from 1 to 4 p.m. All are welcome at this family-friendly event.

Among the highlights are:

  • Local food vendors and the Mass Water Resource Authority filling station
  • Children’s activities and Touch-a-Truck showcase
  • Beer garden featuring Idle Hands Craft Ales
  • Live music performance by the Wakefield School of Rock and DJ entertainment
  • Corn hole tournament (register your team today!)
  • Live classes and demonstrations
  • Local nonprofits, exhibitors, and artisans.
  • Flu vaccine clinic for individuals five and older, managed by Wakefield’s Health Department. Pre-register now. Please be sure to wear short sleeves.

Note that Church Street will be closed during this event.

2:30: Soccer Shots class (register your child)

3:00: Tai Chi class with Donald Wong
