Dashboard
The case data historically reported on our dashboard was from PCR (long form) tests, like those performed at public testing sites throughout the state. This PCR test data was collected by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) and Wakefield’s Health Department.
Antigen (at-home, rapid) test results are not reported to the MDPH or Health Department. Since these antigen tests are becoming the preferred method due to their availability and quick results, the Health Department case data is becoming less accurate. We will therefore no longer be posting case data.
- Vaccination rates by municipality can still be viewed on the MDPH site.
- School data can be viewed on the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) site.
