Dog Park

In June, 2019, Spencer Little (center, in red) was joined by his fellow Scouts and family as they upgraded Main Street’s dog park. The Eagle Scout project worked with our Parks Department to add an agility area and beutify the space.

In November 2021, the Town of Wakefield dedicated the site to former Town Councilor Peter J. May. Peter, who was instrumental in creating that community space. Mr. May passed away in 2021 after a courageous battle with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
