Building Facilities Division

The Building Division of the Department of Public Works is responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of 46 buildings, including Town Hall, the Public Works Garage, Senior Center, all Town schools (including the Yuell and Hurd buildings), and the Public Safety Building. The Division is also responsible for minor facilities such as storage buildings and field bathroom buildings at Landrigan Field. 

During the year, work orders are processed through the DPW’s system and include: electrical repairs and upgrades, HVAC preventative maintenance and repairs, HVAC filter replacement, carpentry, roof and window repair, and other facility repairs and improvements as required. The Buildings Division also manages all grounds and roof snow removal for the facilities mentioned.
