The Wakefield Recreation Department is located in the basement of the Town Hall. Department hours are 9:00 a.m. - noon during the summer months starting the end of June until mid August. The Department offers summer programs for children from age 3 through 13. The signups are held early in June and are advertised in the Daily Item newspaper. Look further on this page for this years schedule. The Department also offers adult men's and women's softball which begins in May. See the Sport List for names to contact.
All youth sport groups are run by individual people or associations. The contact people are all listed on the Sports List. We attempt to keep them updated, but in some cases you may reach the previous years chairperson and in that case, they can tell you who to call.
