Applications for Permits
Our applications are now online! Simply click the application you need and create an account in the Viewpoint Cloud platform to apply for the permit online. Your permit will be issued electronically through this system, so please whitelist @viewpointcloud.com to ensure messages aren’t caught in your spam filter.
You’ll receive an alert message as soon as your permit is issued. When you need to apply for a permit in the future (including those in our Building and Town Administrator Departments) your account information will already be saved!
Make note of the Health Department's license and permit fees.
Animal (chickens, etc): Expires June 30
Body Art: Expires December 31
Bodywork: Expires December 31
Food:
- Food-Establishment Plan Review Application, new businesses and renovation
- Food Establishment: Expires December 31
- Temporary Events
- Farmer's Market: June 1 to December 31
- Ice Cream Vendors: April 1 to October 31
- Mobile Food and Push Cart: Expires December 31
Other Permits
- Dumpster
- Annual: apply with the Health Department (Expires December 31)
- Temporary
- Temporary dumpster on private property (driveway / yard) or on a private way: apply with the Health Department
- Temporary dumpster in the right-of-way: apply with the Engineering Division
- A permit is required by the Public Works Engineering Division for a temporary dumpster that will be in the right-of-way (in the road or blocking a sidewalk). The permit application will need to be submitted with a photo or drawing of the proposed dumpster location. Once the application is received, the Department will confirm that the location of the dumpster is in the safest location and does not cause a visual obstruction of traffic. A Certificate of Insurance from the dumpster contractor is required and a $25 fee will be charged.

- Recreational Camp: June 1 through October 31
- Septic Abandonment
- Swimming Pool (public / semi-public): Indoor expires December 31, Outdoor May 1 to October 31
- Tanning Establishment: Expires June 30
- Transporter (Garbage, Offal, or Other Offensive Substances): Expires December 31
